In the final round, Dou Zecheng shot a 5-under 67.

He birdied holes 5, 9, 10, 13, 15 and 16 to take a two-shot lead into the final hole.

Although he ended with a bogey, he still won the championship at 17 under par.

So far, Dou Zecheng has become the fourth Asian player to secure a PGA Tour membership card next season after Yuan Ye-soon and South Korean players Kim Sung-hyun and An Bing-hoon.

"It's been a very good start to the year, I never doubted myself. Until about a month and a half ago, my swing was like falling apart. Last week was a very big week, I took a good rest, went to some classes, Then came the championship."

The 25-year-old Dou Zecheng said frankly that he is very happy to return to the PGA Tour.

Four years ago, he was on the same pitch as the best player in the world.

"I'm definitely more prepared than that year (2018) because I've never felt as stable as I am now and I think I can compete with them now."

Dou Zecheng said he was looking forward to competing with Yuan Yechun for the top spot in the Korn Ferry Tour standings.

The top-ranked player will qualify for next season's Players Championship and the U.S. Open.

"All my buddies are here and they keep me motivated. I'm going to try to do the same thing, keep them motivated and we'll play well together. Maybe one day, we'll be on the PGA Tour somewhere. We were among the best last time." Dou Zecheng said.
