Andreas Kramer ran the first lap in Karlstad in 52.8 seconds and already there it could be stated that he would not manage his Swedish record of 1.44.47.

He blames it on the cruise control Boitumelo Masilo.

- I am satisfied with the implementation, but it did not turn out at all as the idea was.

He would have gone 50.5 on the first lap.

I was a little disappointed halfway into the race.

I felt him start to lose momentum.

On the far long side, where it blows the most, I had to walk all by myself, says Kramer.

He won the competition by a margin of three tenths down to the Norwegian Tobias Grönstad.

- I am happy that I manage to win the race.

Grönstad challenged at the end and he is strong.

So I'm happy to take the victory anyway, when the times are counted out.

Kramer feels in phase ahead of the World Cup in Eugene, which starts in just under two weeks.

- I have a good starting position for the World Cup.

It will be nice to recharge for a few days and then go to the US on precamp.

Its going to be awesome.
