Terminus, everyone get off.

Caroline Garcia will not go further than the knockout stages at Wimbledon.

The French, 55th player in the world, was taken out by less strong than her on paper: the 66th in the world Marie Bouzkova.

On the ground, there was not really a picture.

The Czech won in two sets (7-5, 6-2).

Garcia has never found the solution against an opponent who has been leading the whole match by breaking from the first game. She will therefore not do better than her best result of 2017 on the London turf.

Bouzkova reached, for the first time in her career, the quarter-final stage at Wimbledon, and in the Grand Slam.

There are only two French players left in the running: Alizé Cornet, who fell for Iga Swiatek on Saturday, and Harmony Tan.
