Djurgården's crusher - won 19-0 in the Swedish Championship final in beach soccer

- It is joy and relief.

We have played together for a long time and are playing together, says Djurgården's Emilia Törnqvist, who scored six goals in the final against the home team Linköping.

She highlights the semifinal against Vetlanda (victory 4-2) as the moral final.

- We almost have a derby feeling when we meet Vetlanda, so it was almost harder to recharge for the match today.

But I think we have succeeded well with that.

Beach soccer is a relatively new sport in Swedish football.

Each team has five players on the field and in the Swedish Championship play-offs, the matches are three times twelve minutes long.

- It's great fun to be a part of when something happens, says Emilia Törnqvist.

The winning teams on both the women's and men's side are ready for the Euro Winners Cup 2023.
