FIFA re-examined the challenge of the Korean national team, who wrote the semifinal legend at the 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup, with animation.

FIFA today (1st) (Korea time) posted a two-minute long video containing the World Cup 'highlight' scene of the Korean national football team 20 years ago on the official World Cup social networking service (SNS) account.

This is an animation of the journey from the first group match (2-0 win) against Poland, where Korea won the World Cup for the first time, to the semi-final where Korea lost 1-0 to Germany.

In the video, a shooting scene between Hwang Seon-hong and the late Yoo Sang-cheol, who scored a goal against Poland, and goalkeeper Lee Woon-jae's save show from the second group match (1-1 draw) with the United States appeared as animations, and the fighting spirit on the ground at the time appeared. It also includes images of real players and fans cheering for them with a sincere heart.

In addition, Park Ji-seong's 'fireworks shot', who scored the winning goal in Portugal (1-0 win), and Seol Ki-hyeon and Ahn Jung-hwan's goal scenes from Italy in the round of 16 (2-1 win) were also highlighted in turn.

In the quarterfinals, which defeated Spain at the end of a penalty shootout, Hong Myung-bo was depicted aiming for the opponent's goal with a fierce gaze, and in the quarterfinals, after conceding a goal to Germany's Michael Ballak, it was 'Game over' with the Korean players who bowed their heads. The phrase came to mind, but FIFA then added the message 'What a performance!'

FIFA added an introductory phrase to the post: "There is no more special World Cup journey than this. Korea left a great journey at home in 2002."
