Liverpool club announced that Egyptian star Mohamed Salah has renewed his contract with the team for a "long period".
And the club's website quoted Salah as saying in a statement, "I am very happy and I am looking forward to winning more titles with the club. It is a happy day for everyone. It took some time to renew, but we have finished everything and we will focus on the benefits ahead."

"We have all seen the level of development and progress made by the team in the past five or six years. Last season we came close to winning
four titles, but unfortunately we lost two titles in the last week of the season."
Liverpool did not reveal any details, but the British "Sky" network reported that Salah signed a contract until 2025.
