Failing to ignite the fields of Ligue 1 next season, the spirit of the derby between AS Saint-Etienne and Olympique Lyonnais is still very present on the web.

A quality troll has indeed decided to short-circuit the auction launched this week by the Museum of the Greens.

The objective was to finance the purchase of new pieces and temporary exhibitions, by collecting as much money as possible from this online sale of pennants and jerseys offered until Thursday evening on the club's website.

One of the biggest curiosities of this auction was the now former ASSE totem logo, placed for many years in front of the Greens shop.

Its starting price was set by the organizers at 400 euros, and its value exploded to unexpected heights.

Problem, as

Le Progrès

reports , eccentric offers have prompted the club to delete two auctions, namely that of a jersey for substitute goalkeeper Théo Vermot, up to 9,000 euros (and left in a second time for 200 euros) .

Then this totem logo, postponed to a future sale, which was bid for… 800,000 euros!

For the coup to be perfect, the virtual buyer replied, with a fake profile, in the name of… Jean-Michel Aulas.

Seriously, give us back the derby in the 2023-2024 season.
