Hard Rock Café has launched a new burger inspired by Lionel Messi, the French star of Paris Saint-Germain.

Messi published a picture on his account on "Instagram" of the sandwich, which bears the name "Messi Burger", in the "Hard Rock" cafe in Ibiza in the Balearic Islands, eastern Spain.

And according to the Spanish newspaper “AS”, the “Messi Burger” consists of two patties of high-quality minced meat, seasoned and cooked with provolone cheese, caramelized red onion sauce, tomatoes and romaine lettuce, smoked and spicy sauce, and two sausage slices.

The newspaper pointed out that the ingredients of the burger sandwich contain the materials that the former Barcelona star loves, knowing that they are served alongside potato chips.

Macy's tied up with the popular restaurant chain last year as a brand ambassador, committing to a five-year agreement on the 50th anniversary of Hard Rock's founding.

Messi, the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner, will now appear on the "Hard Rock" menu, and he has also appeared in a short ad to confirm the release of the "Messi Burger".

The burger will be available to UK customers for £10 (€12), and a fried egg can be added for a small charge.

The announcement of the launch of "Messi Burger" has already witnessed the presence of the Argentine star, who got out of a car in front of the "Hard Rock" cafe in disguise and kept flirting with the madness of the photographers present.

As soon as Messi entered the cafe, he revealed his face, and hit a golden ball bearing his signature, to reveal his sandwich.
