Swedish pole vault star Armand Duplantis was, as usual, a big favorite when the Diamond League arrived in Stockholm on Thursday.

And the 22-year-old certainly delivered.

First he was high above 6.03 - which meant a new world year best - and then he passed 6.16.

It is the highest hope ever outdoors.

Duplantis himself had the previous record, at 6.15 in Rome 2020.

- Incredibly impressive to see.

It's just to enjoy what he offers tonight, says Christian Olsson.
