A few weeks ago, Kalle Berglund told SVT about the past year when he was dealing with mental illness after a long period of performance anxiety.

Until now, there has been no individual race after the Olympics.

With a time of 3.39.92, he came seventh at the Bauhaus Gala.

One year after the bottom scrape

- It's about as I thought.

I'm pretty happy and did my best.

It was fun and I got a little flashback a year ago when I felt the worst.

Where are you on your way back?

- I am very good mentally, but have to work on physically.

In the last six months, I have trained about 75 percent of what I usually do, so there is a lot to be desired, but it is not important right now.

"One day at a time"

He does not really know what the future looks like.

- I take one day at a time.

The ambition is to run a few races and just train and have fun this summer.

It will be a little holiday instead of training camp, so it will be nice to have a normal summer as well.

21-year-old Samuel Pihlström was the best Swedish runner in fifth place with a personal best time of 3.37.23.

Jonathan Grahn also broke a new Swedish junior record of 3.40.29.
