The German newspaper "Bild" reported that the Bayern Munich administration rejected Barcelona's third offer to include Polish star Robert Lewandowski, the Bavarian team's goal.

According to several reports, Barcelona raised its offer to include Lewandowski to 40 million euros, in addition to 5 million euros in additions.

The newspaper added that Bayern will not accept any financial offer less than 50 million euros.

Lewandowski's contract runs until June 30, 2023, but the Polish striker has confirmed on more than one occasion his desire to leave the Bavarian team before the end of the year, although club officials have ruled out his departure from the team so far.

And Uli Hoeness, the honorary president of Bayern Munich, had said that Barcelona should not bother making a new offer for Lewandowski.

"I don't know anything about a new offer, but the way things are going in Munich tells me that Barcelona should not bother with a new offer," he added on the sidelines of the Neuland conference in Aachen, Germany.

Hoeness continued, "I do not make decisions, but Bayern Munich's position was clear, they confirmed that he had to complete his contract in Munich, I cannot imagine that any amount of money could make them change their minds."

When asked, Hoeness did not want to comment on the player's behavior and his attempt to force his club to accept his departure from the team.

He concluded, "Bayern has never commented on that and I will not do that either," but he stressed that he does not imagine that "Lewandowski is pressuring the club to leave."

It is noteworthy that the captain of the Polish national team confirmed his intention to wait for Barca to try to resolve the issue, and this is due to the good relationship between Lewandowski's agent and Barcelona president Joan Laporta.
