On June 28, the 2022 Inner Mongolia Youth Ice Hockey League and Hulunbuir Primary and Secondary School Students' Ice Hockey League were held in Hulunbuir, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

  The event will last for 2 months, and more than 270 young hockey players from 16 local hockey primary and secondary schools will compete in a group round-robin competition.

  As an area rich in ice and snow resources, Hulunbuir has unique advantages to carry out ice and snow sports. Since 2012, local youths began to receive systematic winter training, and their lives have been closely integrated with winter sports. Hulunbuir holds ice and snow events every year. There are more than 60 activities, and the participation rate of primary and secondary school students exceeds 50%.

Today, more than 320 schools in Hulunbuir have launched ice and snow sports classes, with more than 200,000 students participating, and Hulunbuir's winter sports also have a broad mass base.
