Sofia Jakobsson on the abortion law in the USA: "A shame"

Sofia Jakobsson came to San Diego Wave in the ladies' MLS before this season.

This week, the US Supreme Court decided to tear up abortion rights, giving each state the opportunity to regulate abortion rights.

Jakobsson's club took a stand against it on social media, now the star is commenting on it.

- Fantastically proud of my club that makes that decision, I completely agree, I think we women should be able to decide completely over our bodies and hope that the United States will change that, she says to SVT Sport.

"It's a shame"

The outer star does not hold back.

- I think it's a shame that you do not have that right to decide over your own body.

Have you heard that discussion at home, for your part?

- Not so much, there has been a bit of talk like that, but it is probably even more now that this law has been implemented, she says.
