23-year-old Casper Ruud has written Norwegian tennis history in recent seasons.

This week he had the chance to become the first Norwegian in round three of Wimbledon since 1962.

But Ruud failed.

He was a clear favorite before the meeting with the Frenchman Ugo Humbert, but lost by the numbers 6-3, 2-6, 5-7, 4-6.

The 112th ranked Humber says the following afterwards:

- A big victory for me.

Ruud has played well for several years, so I am very happy.
