Mai Dubai renews its sponsorship of Shabab Al Ahly Club

Mai Dubai for bottled drinking water has renewed the strategic partnership agreement with Shabab Al Ahli Club, to continue as the club's official drinking water sponsor for the next sports season 2022-2023.

The signing ceremony of the agreement was attended by Khalifa Suleiman, member of the Board of Directors of Shabab Al-Ahly Club, Saeed Mohammed Al-Tayer, Chairman of Mai Dubai, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sports Sector at Shabab Al-Ahly Club, Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al-Marri, Board Member of Shabab Al-Ahly Hisham Al-Qassem, and Vice Chairman of the Board The management of Mai Dubai, Engineer Walid Ali bin Salman, and CEO of Mai Dubai, Alexander van te Riet,

The ceremony was also attended by Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sports Sector, Major General Talal Al-Shanqiti, Member of the Board of Directors of the Games Sector, Executive Director Majid Sultan, Marketing Adviser at Shabab Al-Ahly Club Abdul Latif Al-Sayegh, and the Club's Administrative Director Dr. Khaled Al-Zahid.


Shabab Al Ahli Club considered signing this agreement with Mai Dubai as a continuation of the strong relationship that brings the club together with one of the leading national companies that contribute to the renaissance of Dubai, stressing the keenness of both sides to consolidate this relationship and enhance communication in a way that benefits both parties and serves the public interest.


Al-Ahly Youth Club praised the company, which was keen to continue its support for the sports sector in the United Arab Emirates, and the Al-Ahly youth team in particular, pointing out that this cooperation comes in implementation of the directives of the wise leadership, and within the framework of the integration of roles between state institutions, in order to achieve the desired goals.


Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Chairman of Mai Dubai, expressed his pride in the renewal of Mai Dubai's sponsorship of Shabab Al Ahli Club, which has a proven track record of achievements and victories locally, in the Gulf and regionally.

His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer said: "In line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, we are working in Mai Dubai, wholly owned by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, according to a work methodology that seeks to foresee the future. Through our partnership with Shabab Al Ahli Club, Mai Dubai has renewed its commitment to promoting a rich sports culture in Dubai, with Mai Dubai emerging as a leading brand of bottled water in the UAE.”


Al Tayer added: “We will continue to collaborate with Shabab Al Ahli Club to help establish its position as one of the leading football clubs in the UAE, in addition to enhancing Mai Dubai’s role as one of the main supporters of fitness and encouraging members of the community to adopt a healthier and more active lifestyle. We wish Al-Ahly youth club success in the upcoming sports season.”


For his part, Vice Chairman of Mai Dubai, Engineer Waleed Ali bin Salman, said: “The renewal of our partnership is a testament to our continued support for sports activities in Dubai. We are pleased that we got another opportunity to partner with Al Ahly youth so that we can enhance our cooperation by raising the bar Awareness of the importance of consuming adequate amounts of water to maintain general health, especially among professional athletes.
