The ice hockey team qualified for the semi-finals of the Asian Under-20 Challenge Championship, which will be held in Thailand from June 25 to July 2, and the qualification came after the team achieved two consecutive victories over the Philippines and Malaysia with the same result (8-7). Today, he will meet with Thailand in a match whose result determines the leader of the group that includes the teams with the highest rank in the tournament.

The national team group, which is ranked at the highest level, includes the Philippines, Malaysia and Thailand, and in the other group are the teams of India, Hong Kong, Singapore and Indonesia.

Our national under-20 ice hockey team held a training camp in preparation for the tournament, which lasted for two weeks at the Abu Dhabi Ice Skating Hall in Zayed Sports City, and included daily training sessions to raise the physical fitness and technical level of the players.
