Shericka Jackson has gone down from 400 meters and is currently ruining great successes in the shorter distances.

At home in Jamaica, national competitions are taking place, as well as World Cup qualifiers, and Jackson is showing brilliant form.

This weekend she won in the 100 meters and during the last day of the championship the 27-year-old completed the double when she completely superior ran home the gold in the 200 meters.

Not only did she crack the pre-favorites Elaine Thompson-Herah, Olympic champion, and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, world champion, by a wide margin.

Jackson started strongest of the trio and with 50 meters left she accelerated only further.

The time stayed at the best of the year 21.55 - which is the world's third fastest time of all 200 meters after Florence Griffith-Joyner (21.34) and Elaine Thompson-Herah (21.53).

For Jackson himself, it was the personal best with 26 hundredths and 23 hundredths faster than Christine Mboma's 21.78, which until today was the fastest of the year.

The World Cup in Eugene begins on July 15 and is broadcast on SVT.
