Skateboard slalom new branch at the Swedish Championships week and in August it's time for the WC in Båstad.

Three of the world stars who are all ranked in the top 10 in the world come from Sweden, Gothenburg and from the same family.

Father Mikael Hadestrand, and the brothers Viktor and Viking.

And maybe it's the competition between the family members that makes the trio uniquely successful?

- The advantage we three have is that we can train with each other and push each other all the time and get tips, says Viking before dad Mikael fills in.

- We have fun, we always drive on time when we train and chase each other.

I think it's driven itself.

Skateboard slalom is a man-to-man sport where it is important to be the fastest in the finish in a heat where you have to run around cones.

In skateboard slalom, just like in alpine slalom, there are a number of different disciplines.

The most common are straight, special, hybrid and giant slalom.

The difference between the branches is the distance between the cones and the lateral position of the cones.

At the Swedish Championships week in Linköping, the skateboard slalom will be decided on 2 July.
