The shield raised on the Place de la Comédie, before the huge fiesta at GGL Stadium.

Montpellier celebrated its rugby players on Saturday evening, crowned champions of France for the first time after their victory (29-10), the day before against Castres.

From the classic ("Here, here, it's Montpellier") to the popular feria song by Arthur Vincent, which became the MHR anthem "Oh petard" by L'Art à Tatouille: Montpellier celebrated again until until very late at night, while Mohed Altrad promised "other titles" in the future.

Mohamed Haouas unleashed

The children of the country, Fulgence Ouedraogo and a raging Mohamed Haouas, set the tempo, even if they could not play the tenors from the balcony of the Comédie opera house as the footballers (in particular) had done before them in 2012. At the same time an opera was held.

It was therefore from a platform on the other side of the square that the four to five thousand people who came with family or friends waved the flags, lit a few blue and white smoke bombs.

And ended with a song launched from the stage.

"Who doesn't jump... doesn't jump!"
