Ahead of this summer's championship, the women's national team has signed a new agreement with the football association.

One part is about the association "working to influence Uefa and Fifa to provide equal compensation" at the upcoming championships.

The second part is about the compensation for the players in the women's national team during the European Championship in England.

The new agreement means a substantial increase compared to the previous European Championships for the 23 selected players.

SEK 578,000 is the compensation if Sweden were to go all the way.

The secured basic prize is SEK 261,000, which alone is more than the 250,000 you received for the WC 2019. For each round the women's national team advances in the EC, the sum increases.

The total prize money in the championship is SEK 160 million.
