The Egyptian media, Ahmed Schubert, revealed the name of the new coach of the Egyptian Al-Ahly team, who will take over the task in the next stage after the departure of South African coach Pitso Mosimane.

Ahmed Schubert said on his official page on the social networking site "Twitter" that Al-Ahly has completed its agreement with Portuguese coach Ricardo Soares.

Schubert said: "Al-Ahly club has already ended its agreement with Ricardo Soares, and he will arrive within days, while keeping Sami Komsan, Sayed Abdel Hafeez and Yankun within the support apparatus."

Ricardo Soares is a Portuguese coach, born on November 11, 1974, and he is 47 years old.

Ricardo Soares started in the world of coaching at the age of 30, and he took over many clubs in different grades, and trained a number of amateur teams, until he signed with the Fisella team in the summer of 2014, and succeeded in ascending with him to the second division.

After that, Soares was appointed to manage Chavez's team, and then moved to coach Aves, unlike a number of other teams.

Ricardo shined with the Portuguese team Gil Vicente, after he achieved great results with him and was able to book the fifth place in the Portuguese League table during the last season, which qualifies for the European Conference League Supplement.

Last season, the coach played 34 matches with the team in the Portuguese league, winning 13 of them, drawing 12 and losing 9, scoring 47 goals, receiving 42, and collecting 51 points.
