The Asian Football Confederation approves Kholoud Al Zaabi among the elite referees

The Referees Department of the Asian Football Confederation has approved the international wisdom, Kholoud Al-Zaabi, among the Asian elite referees, after successfully passing the training course for elite referees and assistant referees 2022.

In its letter sent to the General Secretariat of the Football Association, the AFC called on international wisdom, Kholoud Al-Zaabi, to participate in the elite referees' preparation course, scheduled to be held next November.

Kholoud Al-Zaabi's distinction during her participation in managing many local and regional matches, and her adoption among the elite arena referees in Asia, contributed to her presence as the first female component in the list of the eight national football referees, which includes, Muhammad Abdullah Hassan, Ammar Al-Junaibi, Omar Al Ali, Adel Al-Naqbi, Yahya Al-Mulla, Sultan Muhammad Salih, Ahmad Issa Darwish and Kholoud Al-Zaabi.

Salem Ali Al Shamsi, member of the Board of Directors of the Football Association and Chairman of the Referees Committee, congratulated the international wisdom, Kholoud Al Zaabi, for its adoption among the elite rulers of the continent of Asia, stressing that the support of the Board of Directors of the Football Association headed by Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi includes all members of the Emirati arbitration system, which includes the female component. And the importance of empowering him by developing his expertise with the necessary training courses and workshops.

Al Shamsi pointed out that the efficiency of the Emirati referee is recognized on the continent and internationally, and we are working in the Football Association to maintain excellence and achieve more successes for the Emirati arbitration family.
