Caroline Garcia finally wins.

The Frenchwoman won her first WTA title in three years in Bad Homburg, Germany, where she beat Canadian Bianca Andrescu in the final (6-7, 6-4, 6-4).

The day before, she had beaten Alizé Cornet after an epic half.

This is the 8th career title for this 28-year-old player (75th in the world).

She had not played in the final since her victory in June 2019 in Nottingham, already on grass, at a time when she was among the best in the world (4th in 2018).

This success in Bad Homburg allows him to move up the ATP rankings.

On Monday, she will be 55th just ahead of… Andrescu.
