Godolphin claims Britain's Criterion Stakes nickname "Art Duval"

Under the Godolphin logo and under the supervision of coach Charlie Appleby, Art Duval sings the title of the 1400-meter Criterion Stakes for Group 3 horses, which will be held tomorrow, Saturday, at the ancient British "Newmarket" track.

Art Duval aspires to continue his promising start to the European season, when the six-year-old Jawad is heading to Newmarket to compete at a shorter distance for the second time in his career, after scoring a victory over the same distance in August 2018 at Sandown Park.

Godolphin coach Charlie Appleby commented on Art Duval's fortunes, saying in a press statement: "We are looking forward to (Art de Val) returning to compete over a distance of seven furlongs (1,400 metres), after he ran well on the York track in his last participation, when he showed that running At this distance it fits."
