On the 23rd, the JOC held a board of councilors in Tokyo and appointed a new director.



The new directors were Mr. Ota, a former president of the Federation of Japan Fencing Association, a member of the IOC = International Olympic Committee, and Mr. Matsuda, a swimmer who is an athlete member of the JOC.
