Korea took the 200m silver medalist Hwang Seon-woo as the number 1 swimmer and overpowered her.

Seon-woo Hwang took the lead from the beginning and was the first to run the 200m, and her second youngster, Kim Woo-min, also maintained the first place.

Lee Yoo-yeon, who came third, lost the lead to the home team Hungary as she circled the 500m point, but did not allow any further pursuit.

The last swimmer, Hojun Lee, overcame the pursuit of swimming powers Australia and China, and took the touchpad in second place.

He broke the Korean record by 2.96 seconds with a time of 7:08.49 and advanced to the final with 8 teams competing for 4th overall.

It is the first time in Korean swimming history to advance to the final in the relay event, in which four swimmers must have even skills.

[Kim Woo-min: I did it because I felt like I was going to do my best to show it.]

[Hwang Seon-woo: I made it to the final of the team event for the first time in Korea, so I want to show a good image in the final.]

After Hwang Seon-woo's appearance, Korean swimming aimed at the world stage. We have been intensively nurturing the relay team.

In an empty swimming pool, he kept on shortening the record by working together as if in a real game, and during the six-week training in Australia, he conducted a relay project as well as a solo exhibition of Hwang Seon-woo.

Even in Budapest, he wrote a new history after practicing baton touch whenever he had free time.

The national team will go to the dream final stage at dawn tomorrow (24th).
