It was on February 6, 2021 during the World Cup competitions in Ulricehamn that Linn Svahn fell and hit his right shoulder.

The injury turned out to be more serious than first thought.

There have been two operations and many rehab hours, but now the shoulder finally seems to have healed.

- I would say that I have a healthy shoulder.

But a strong enough shoulder to handle the most demanding as skiers, I'm not there, says Linn Svahn.

How does it feel to finally start getting rid of the shoulder problem?

-

It's nice not to have to think about it, that my life does not revolve around dealing with pain but it revolves around trying to develop on skis and it is very nice to be in that stage.

Next season looks bright

Physiotherapist Marcus Bystedt is positive about development in recent months and says that the challenge now is the endurance in the shoulder and finding the balance so she does not go on too hard right away.

- She trains reduced but she trains like a skier does, says Marcus Bystedt.

The goal is that by the end of the summer, Svahn will not have to think about his shoulder at all.

- Towards that goal, it looks very good so the hope for next season is bright, says Svahn.
