At the team-SM in Uppsala, Michaela Meijer would chase the WC form.

But the competition did not turn out as hoped.

It was on the jump that bad luck came to the pole vaulter and she sprained her foot.

Meijer was able, despite the pain, to jump a jump of a height of 1.60 to fix points for her team Örgryte.

Meijer who had a difficult year, where she was in a car accident last year together with coach Gustaf Berggren and Yannick Tregaro.

Meijer has so far not passed the qualifying limit for the WC in about a month and time is now starting to run short for the pole vaulter to qualify for her fourth straight WC.

- I do not know how serious the injury is at the moment.

She made a jump over 1.60 for us to save a point.

Then she wanted to take it easy as possible, so that she does not get lost for so long, says Jonathan Cabre, team manager in Örgryte to SVT Sport.

But after that, there was no more hope for Meijer who had to follow the competition from the side with an ice pack on his foot and then be pushed out on a stretcher from the competition.

- I can not assess at the moment how it will affect, how long she will be away from training or competition, says Cabre.
