Hwang Seon-woo, who appeared with a thin smile, took a deep breath to shake off the tension and stood at the starting platform.

Hwang Seon-woo, who reached the final 3rd overall and was assigned to lane 3, jumped in 0.61 seconds, the fastest speed among the participating players.

Following his first 50 m section and passing 4th up to 100 m, he began to fiercely pursue his leading competitors.

He made a 150m turn, beating Smith in lane 8 to get to 3rd, and he put all his energy into the final 50m.

With about 30 m left, he overtook Tokyo Olympic gold medalist Tom Dean of England and played until the end.

Although he did not close the gap with Romanian 18-year-old star Popovich, Hwang Seon-woo took the touchpad in second place with a new Korean record of 1:44.47.

She was behind Sun Yang's Asian best by 0.08 seconds.

Hwang Seon-woo was on the podium in the management event of the World Championships for the first time since Park Tae-hwan in 2011, and in the 200m freestyle, he surpassed Park Tae-hwan's bronze medal in 2007 and achieved the best performance ever.

I want to show you a good side.]

Hwang Seon-woo, who failed to advance to the semi-finals, where 16 people compete by taking the 17th place in 48 seconds 61 in the 100m preliminaries, continues the challenge in the team event relay.
