The desire of Magomed Ismailov to sort things out with Dmitry Kudryashov has recently turned into an obsession.

The fighter is persistently looking for a meeting with the boxer and is trying to spin their hypothetical confrontation.

So, after the semi-finals of the Pravda FC Grand Prix, in which the ex-contender for the world title knocked out Vagab Vagabov, a duel of views actually took place.

The bald Predator climbed into the ring and hinted that he would not mind fighting the Russian Sledgehammer.

And the next day he reinforced this with a more substantive message on social networks.

“While Dima pretends not to know my name, I pretend not to know him.

In fact, I know him.

He is a good boxer who was lucky in the fight with Vagab.

And if Kudryashov dares to make a weight of 90 kg (in this category I boxed with his former opponent, who made holes in him), he will remember my name for the rest of his life.

And in MMA, he can weigh at least 150 kg, there is no difference, ”wrote Ismailov.

Not without a traditional joke for a fighter.

Magomed posted a video in which he played a duel with Kudryashov in two persons, which, according to his forecast, would end with a knockout of Dmitry and a white towel thrown onto the canvas as a sign of surrender.

The opponent did not leave the attack unanswered, but reacted quite coldly, making it clear that he did not intend to accept the proposed conditions.

“Even if the blogger asks the “legendary promoter” not to hit him hard, put on me the largest and safest 20-ounce mittens, the shiny head still cannot withstand these overloads.

He is not a boxing bag, he is a blogger, ”Kudryashov emphasized.

Despite this, it is impossible to completely exclude the possibility of organizing a confrontation.

The Dagestan is one of the most popular fighters in the country and meeting with him promises any serious fee, even a boxer.

And therefore, a native of Volgodonsk, having received a good offer, can change his mind.

Yet he is 36 years old, and the main cash fights are long gone.

The possible refusal of Vyacheslav Datsik to participate in the final of the Pravda FC Grand Prix is ​​also capable of bringing their meeting closer.

The head of the organization, Khetag Tsopanov, explained that Red Tarzan had suffered an injury to his hand and was in danger of not having time to recover.

In this case, the fight will be postponed, and Ismailov and Kudryashov will have the opportunity to meet in the ring.

Although on paper their fight looks intriguing, participation in it can turn into serious problems for Magomed.

In the world of domestic MMA, there are enough strong strikers, such as Sergey Kharitonov.

The Dagestan is a basic wrestler and prefers to resolve issues on the ground.

Even though he claims that he loves to spar while standing, this is nothing compared to the experience of the former contender for the title of well-known boxing organizations, who spent three dozen fights in his career.

Ismailov has only one in his asset.

In February this year, he won a landslide unanimous decision victory over Olanrewaju Durodola.

Magomed's success made a serious impression, because his opponent had fought for the WBC silver belt just a few months before, even if he had been defeated.

That is, it was difficult to blame the organizers for finding a "bag" for the sake of a successful debut of a compatriot.

Additional intrigue is added by the fact that it was the Nigerian who inflicted the first defeat on Kudryashov in 2015.

Dmitry, who had not been beaten before, approached the meeting in Kazan for the title mentioned above as a clear favorite, but the opponent did not hesitate and knocked him out in the second round.

Two years later, the Russian took a fairly convincing revenge, but his sensational defeat remained one of the loudest in the history of Russian boxing.

And it is no coincidence that the Dagestan reminded of her.

But he himself should not flatter himself too much after defeating Durodola, because the organizers did everything so that he would prevail.

Firstly, mindful of the problems of the Russian with endurance, the fight was shortened to four three-minute rounds.

This was clearly confirmed by his recent confrontation with Vagabov.

The latter entered the ring, being the reigning champion of one of the strongest Russian promotions AMC Fight Night in light heavyweight.

He also had a wealth of experience in boxing.

Vagab fought as an amateur until the age of 20 and even held several meetings as a professional.

It seemed that he had a chance to win over an opponent who had fallen into a crisis.

In fact, Kudryashov knocked out his opponent in 45 seconds, without really warming up.

The very first signature left hook led to a knockdown.

Dmitry did not feel sorry for his opponent and soon finished him off with an overhand right.

If the recognized knockout Vagabov could not oppose anything to the boxer, then Ismailov has even less chance.

Moreover, Magomed, unlike Vagab, is seriously inferior to his rival in anthropometric data.

He is 14 cm lower than the opponent and, accordingly, inferior to him in arm span.

It is unlikely that for the sake of meeting with the Dagestani, he will agree to return there again and experience serious discomfort, dropping 20 kg.

Finally, we must not forget about Ismailov's fight with Alexander Shlemenko, which should take place at the end of August.

If Magomed agrees to fight Kudryashov in front of him, there is a risk of disrupting one of the most anticipated confrontations of the year in domestic MMA.

After all, it is not clear how the fight will end and what damage the athlete will suffer.

Knowing this, he is unlikely to take such a risk.

But even if their meeting takes place later, the Dagestani is still in serious danger.

The veteran has never been knocked out, and the blows of one of the toughest punchers in Russia, who prematurely assured 24 out of 30 fights, are ways to cause too serious harm to health.
