The World Swimming Championships start in Budapest on Saturday and for Emelie Fast there are good memories coming up from the Hungarian capital.
That was where she began her breakthrough year last year when she hit a super race in the 100-meter breaststroke trials at the European Championships and broke her own personal record by two seconds and snagged an Olympic ticket.
Later in the year, championship medals followed at both the European Championships and the World Championships in short track.
- It feels almost a bit unreal when I think back on it.
