European football stadiums are currently witnessing the brilliance of a large number of Muslim and Arab players, compared to periods ago when these players were unable to reserve their places in the ranks of the major clubs.

In conjunction with that shift in the players' career, their clubs began directing their attention to Islamic societies during various propaganda campaigns, in an attempt to gain more popularity among the people of those societies.

In this context, Salma Bazraa, a British model of Yemeni origin, appeared in the advertising campaign for the new Liverpool shirt for the next season, accompanied by German coach Jurgen Klopp, to become the talk of the hour in the city.

Sanad Agency - for news verification on Al-Jazeera network - conducted an interview with Bazara, who spoke about the opportunity to appear in the Liverpool shirt, and about the influence of the Egyptian player Mohamed Salah on the city, in addition to the veil that did not hinder her work as a model.

Bazraa says that she is a model who was born in Liverpool, United Kingdom, where she lived her life, but her origins are Yemeni, Hadrami and added that the American company “Nike” for sports supplies and sponsor of the “Reds” shirts offered her to take pictures of presenting the club shirt in preparation for the new season, and she agreed to immediately.

She added that Klopp and the rest of the squad were "very cool, very friendly, and I felt very welcome while filming the campaign for the club's shirt".

Salma confirmed that her favorite player is the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, as well as the Dutch defender Virgil van Dijk, the "Liver" defender.

She expressed her sadness at the absence of Salah during the photo session, explaining that if he was present, she would have congratulated him on his achievements and told him that "he is doing a great job, and that he makes each of us very proud of him."

Salma points out that Salah's influence is evident in many ways in the city, as Liverpool fans are becoming more aware of Islam and Arab culture, which makes me very happy to touch and see him in the people here.

She explained that the hijab did not present her with any obstacles in her work as a model, and went on, "This was my first professional photo shoot, and frankly, I felt very proud to wear the hijab; representing my religion makes me really happy, and I definitely wouldn't change it for anything."

Concluding the dialogue, Salma sent a message to all Muslim girls, saying, "If you love something or have a passion for something, go for it, and as long as you respect your religion, do what makes you happy, and never let anyone tell you that you can't do that. Don't give up on your goals, believe in yourself.
