Paralympic champion Muhammad Khamis grabbed a gold and two bronze medals in the weight category over 97 kg, during his participation in the Asian and Oceania Open Powerlifting Championships currently being held in Pyeongtaek, South Korea, with the participation of 231 players representing 19 countries, and its competitions conclude on the 20th of this month.

The Paralympic champion, Muhammad Khamis, dedicated his achievement to the leadership, government and people of the Emirates, and to everyone who contributed during the last period to extracting medals.

For his part, the mission’s administrator, Khalifa Hassan, said in a press statement: “We are happy that our hero, Muhammad Khamis, grabbed the medals on the first day, which will be a source of inspiration for the rest of our players in their upcoming participation, and we wish them success and snatching medals.”
