Veteran Brazilian star Marcelo bid farewell to his club Real Madrid, yesterday, Monday, during a press conference after 15 successful and historic years he spent at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The left-back’s contract with the Royal Club will expire this summer, and the player confirmed, despite his farewell, that he does not consider himself “leaving” Real.

The Brazilian thanked the Meringue management, headed by Florentino Perez, with tears flowing from his eyes, describing Real Madrid as "the best club in the world."

Spanish legend Raul Gonzalez seemed affected by Marcelo's words, along with Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti, who also shed tears.

It is noteworthy that the Brazilian won 25 titles with Real Madrid and played a total of 564 games, during which he scored 38 goals.
