The Para-Athletics Japan Championship was held on the final day of the tournament, and Wakako Tsuchida won the women's 1500-meter wheelchair class.

The Para-Athletics Japan Championships held in Kobe City reached the final day of the tournament, and Tsuchida and Tsubasa Kina participated in the women's 1500-meter wheelchair class.



Tsuchida won the 4th place in the women's marathon wheelchair class at the Tokyo Paralympics, and Kino won the 7th place.



From the beginning of the race, Tsuchida took the lead and pulled, and from the middle stage onward, Tsuchida and Kino replaced the tops.



Then, on the last straight line, Tsuchida passed Kino and won the championship with a time of 3: 32.38.



Tsuchida said, "I had a good race. At the end, I think it was a very good race to be able to compete firmly in the sprint."



In the men's 1500 meters visually impaired class, Shinya Wada, who won two medals at the Tokyo Paralympics, and Kenya Karasawa, who won the silver medal at the men's 5000 meters, participated.



Immediately after the start of the race, Wada took the lead and Karasawa continued.



Wada ran away and won the championship at 4:05:93.



Wada said, "I thought it was a record today. I was able to race at my own pace, conscious of the laps every 200 meters."
