Daniel Ståhl competed at Sollentunavallen on Sunday night, an arena he enjoyed before.

He started with a throw of 66 meters blank, a throw that put him in an early lead.

It was in the sixth and final round that Ståhl threw his longest throw of the evening, which measured 68.97 meters.

Ståhl was mainly challenged by Austria's Lukas Weißhaidinger who landed at 65.71 meters.

Nice form message

The last competition for Ståhl before Sunday's GP in Sollentuna was the Diamond League in Morocco.

There he threw "only" 67.16 meters and was dissatisfied afterwards.

- 67 meters is nothing really, he said then, but admitted that he thought the form would come.

It did.

Sunday's competition was an increase of almost two meters and Ståhl was seen jumping from the ring after the throw, obviously happy with the throw.

- It was good pressure in that last one, that's what I'm working on, to be able to throw out the technology that I have, but it will be better in the future, Ståhl says to SVT Sport.

The other Swede, Simon Pettersson finished third with a throw of 62.96 as the best.

Feel no stress before the World Cup

Ståhl was beaten by the young Slovenian Kristjan Ceh in Morocco, who also threw over 2.5 meters further than the Swede.

Have you felt any stress over it?

- No, nothing at all, it's just fun that he throws far, he says to SVT Sport.

With the World Cup as a big goal this summer, Ståhl feels no stress.

- I will try to do my best in every competition, and to get to the final at the World Cup is the goal, so we will see what happens there.
