[Explanation] Deng Yilin, who used to be a member of the Malaysian national table tennis team, began to contact table tennis at the age of 7.

After finishing high school, the Malaysian table tennis player came to China and continued to pursue her dream of table tennis.

Recently, in the table tennis hall of Chengdu Institute of Physical Education, Deng Yilin, now a third-year student majoring in sports training in the small ball department, is training with her classmates for the table tennis technical exam at the end of the semester.

In my final exam, in addition to some aspects of the culture class, we also (wanted to) pass the test in table tennis, that is, out of the 10 balls given by the teacher, we have to hit (return) 7 balls (or more). , but also with a very high quality kind.

There is also a theory test, which is about the development of Chinese table tennis culture.

[Explanation] Deng Yilin has shown a lot of talent in table tennis since she was a child. After only three years of learning table tennis, she entered the state team and won the national championship of the Malaysian table tennis youth group.

Recalling that she just came to China to learn table tennis, Deng Yilin said with a smile, she did not expect that when she first came to Chengdu, the competition with "folk table tennis lovers" gave her a dismay.

I remember when I was a freshman, not long after I came to Chengdu, I participated in a national fitness (ping pong) competition hosted by a high-tech zone. At that time, I won the seventh place.

At that time, I thought that there were some older uncles over there, and they actually played very well.

Because at that time I rarely lost to some older uncles, but I lost to them at that time, I actually felt quite ashamed, but now I have come to Chengdu for the fourth year, and now I feel nothing (things) ) is quite common.

Because I think it's just a loss of experience.

[Explanation] During the three years of study in Chengdu Institute of Physical Education, in addition to practicing table tennis skills, Deng Yilin also needs to learn theoretical knowledge such as tactical analysis and table tennis refereeing.

Speaking of the classic "war" in her heart, Deng Yilin repeatedly praised it for being wonderful, but she also bluntly said that there are many events that she can't really start with.

In the men's table tennis singles final of the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, that game was actually the "Battle of the Century" between Ma Long and Fan Zhendong.

Both sides are very strong, and the number of times the two sides have played against each other is not too small, and everyone is a Chinese team (player), and they have played against each other so many times and have known each other for so long.

If the two of them play against each other, I can only say that whoever rushes will win, because no one made a lot of mistakes in that game, so I can only say that whoever rushes will win.

[Explanation] In her daily life and study, Deng Yilin felt the upsurge of national fitness in Chengdu.

She said that the experience of studying abroad in Chengdu allowed her to see more possibilities for sports development.

For example, in the 2018 National Games, square dancing became an athletic event.

So I think no matter how old you are or what career you are in, in fact, I think there is no limit to sports. It really does not limit your major, what job, what occupation, or your age and so on.

[Explanation] Deng Yilin is going to "cross-border" to apply for postgraduate studies in sports management in the future. She hopes that she can work with her classmates in the future to make "Xiaoqiu" go to a larger and wider "stage".
