Deaflympics Takuma Sasaki 2nd in the men's 100m open event

Last month, Takuma Sasaki, who won the first gold medal for a Japanese athlete at the Deaflympics 100-meter track and field men's international sports competition for the hearing impaired, participated in the open event of the Japan Championship.

Last month, Sasaki participated in the Deaflympics 100-meter track and field men's race in Brazil and won the first gold medal for a Japanese player in this event.

He participated in the men's 100 meters in the "Diff Event", which was held for the first time as an open event on the final day of the Japan Championships.

Since the players cannot hear the start sound, they start by seeing that the box-shaped lamp placed on the start line has changed from red to yellow and finally to white.

Sasaki jumped out from the start, but at the end he didn't grow and finished second at 11:05.

The winner was Masaki Yamada, who won the gold medal in the Deaflympics men's 200 meters in 2017, and the time was 10 seconds 98.
