Where is the European Championships 2022 going?

The European Swimming Championships will take place in Budapest, Duna arena, between 18 and 25 July.

The team competition in the 4x100 meter freestyle in the WC in Budapest is the first Swedish men's team in a long distance WC in eleven years.

Sarah Sjöström

Has competed sparingly during the spring, but looked strong in the competitions she did before the World Cup.

At the WC, Sjöström will swim 50 and 100 meters freestyle and 50 meters butterfly individually.

Team race for the men

It is eleven years since Sweden had a team competition in the World Cup on the men's side, but at the World Cup that will be the case.

In Budapest, Isak Eliasson, Elias Persson, Björn Seeliger and Robin Hanson will defend the Swedish colors in the 4x100 meter freestyle.

The goal in the WC is top twelve.

On the women's side, Sweden will compete in both the 4x100 meter freestyle and the 4x100 meter medley.
