Sörenstam had the best pulling help in his ball with Linn Grant and Kristoffer Broberg, who are both in the top battle but with plus five it is finished.

It seems to be required minus one to be able to continue playing over the weekend.

- I would have liked the score to be a little lower, of course.

I felt charged and prepared to come here but it did not go as I had imagined, unfortunately.

I am disappointed and would have liked to play this weekend, says Sörenstam to Viaplay.

The 51-year-old retired 14 years ago at the highest level and is now active on the senior tour in the USA and in various types of projects to promote the development of golf.

In Halmstad, she is an ambassador for the competition together with Henrik Stenson, the two biggest in Swedish golf.

Did not find the feeling on the greens

- It is the close game and and finding the feeling on the greens was more difficult.

It feels like I played well in 14 holes then it was something that happened in some swing or some stroke and then it just runs away.

The other thing is that I do not make as many birdies, there are too few per round and that makes each bogey feel so much harder, says Sörenstam who has perspective.

- Of course I would have liked to continue playing this weekend, but I'm not here to compete in that sense, says Sörenstam, who has recently had to play together with the two future names Linn Grant and Ingrid Lindblad.

- They have played in "Annika Invitational" and it is fun to see how good they have become.

I keep in touch with many of the young players via emails and the like, says Sörenstam.

Henrik Stenson is out in the second round and was after ten holes played at minus five, which was in 17th place.
