These are images that we don't like to see in a peloton, in sport and in life in general.

Well, we're abusing it a bit, but still: Juan Sebastian Molano's nasty gesture against Hugo Page during the 6th stage of the Critérium du Dauphiné was worth neither more nor less than a pure and simple disqualification .

This is no surprise what was decided by the race management.

💥 Molano's bad move!!

Molano, who had initially taken 7th place in the stage, the first in the peloton behind the breakaway, apologized to young Frenchman Hugo Page (20, Intermarché).

“The approach to the finish was fast and tense.

In the heat of the moment, I made a dangerous gesture, ”said the Colombian who can be seen shouting and punching the Frenchman in the images of the race.

“I would like to apologize to Hugo Page and all the riders for what happened.

I understand why I was disqualified and can only say that I regret it and learn from it,” added Molano.
