This is an officialization rather than a news.
Less than a year before “its” World Cup (September 8 – October 28, 2023), the XV of France will face Australia then South Africa and Japan in November.
Fabien Galthié's Blues will start by challenging the Wallabies at the Stade de France on November 5, before traveling to Marseille a week later to meet the Springboks, reigning world champions.
Three tests against Japan this year
The winners of the last Six Nations Tournament will finally play against Japan on November 20, in Toulouse, which they will have already faced twice during their summer tour (July 2 and 9).
France, the second nation in the World Rugby rankings, has not lost since a loss against Australia (33-30) in Brisbane, July 17, 2021. If they win their two tests in Japan, the Blues would equal a 85-year-old record with ten straight victories between 1931 and 1937.
