The LIV Golf Series, which is launched with eight tournaments this year with the support of the Saudi Sovereign Wealth Fund, has raised the prize money to go beyond the PGA Tour.

The 48 participating players play only three rounds, and the total prize money for each tournament is more than three times that of the PGA Tour, and the prize money for winning is KRW 5 billion, which is 1.5 times that of the most prestigious Masters.

It is literally a 'money feast' where even the last person gets 150 million won because there is no cut cut.

Although the participants were sluggish due to the Saudi government's human rights suppression issue, which is the source of funding, and the PGA Tour's hard response stance, LIV paid tens of billions of won in deposits, and major champions 7 including Dustin Johnson, the world's No. Things changed when he was hired.

Despite the controversy over chasing money, not a few star players are choosing LIV with fewer competitions and more prize money.

I can do other things besides golf, and I will have more time to spend with my family.]

Right now, most of the tournaments, including the London opening game this week, overlap with the PGA schedule, so the attention is focused on what kind of cataclysmic change will come to the men's golf world.
