Belgium suffered a heavy loss in the premiere of the Nations League when they fell 4-1 against the Netherlands.

Tonight, however, they got a solid recovery in the meeting with Poland.

Despite the Polish shooter king Robert Lewandowski giving the guests the lead, Belgium was finally able to win with a crushing 6-1.

First, Axel Witsel equalized and a quarter into the second half, star Kevin De Bruyne scored 2-1.

The jumper with dream goal

Shortly after the goal, coach Roberto Martinez chose to replace Leandro Trossard instead of Eden Hazard.

It would prove to be a successful move.

After just a few minutes on the field, the 27-year-old made it 3-1.

Shortly afterwards, he struck for the second time, this time with a real dream goal.

After a short corner, Trossard fired a shot from distance that drilled into the far cross, unreachable for Bartlomiej Drogwski in the Polish goal.

The final score was finally written to 6-1, among other things after the national team debutant Lois Openda found the right time in extra time.

With the victory, Belgium climbs to second place in the group.

In the group's second match, the Netherlands won 2-1 against Wales after striker Wout Weghorst decided at the end.
