The crowd at Ernst Happel Stadium had to wait a long time for the kick-off in Monday's Nations League battle.

A power outage in Vienna's other districts delayed the match between Denmark and Austria by 90 minutes.

- Everyone knows that we had special matches in the European Championships and I have been involved in special matches when it stormed in the U17 World Cup in Mexico.

But this is one of the strangest things I have been through, says Danish striker Yussuf Poulsen.

Late decisive

Once the match started, it was a Danish victory.

Jens Stryger Larsen decided the match to 2-1 with six minutes left.

- I have played many big matches, but this was something really special, says the match hero.

Denmark has now started the Nations League by beating France and Austria.
