"Super Egyptian" hosted by Abu Dhabi
The United Media Services Company announced the holding of two Egyptian Super Cup matches between the two winning teams in the League and Egypt Cup for the last season 2020-2021, and the current season 2021-2022 in the UAE.
The company issued an official statement after signing the cooperation protocol between it and the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, and the Emirati side pledged to organize the Super Cup matches due to its great value in terms of technical, public, media and marketing.
Abu Dhabi Sports Council officials expressed their overwhelming happiness "to host the Egyptian Super Cup again, which will be a wonderful extension for the presence of Egyptian football on the land of the Emirates, which receives and welcomes everyone, after the great successes achieved by past experiences and important gains, in terms of the Egyptian youth gathering and the large Egyptian public support for Emirates land.
They stressed that the Abu Dhabi Sports Council "is keen to harness all possibilities to achieve organizational success for the Egyptian Super Cup match."
Abu Dhabi hosted the Egyptian Super Cup four times previously, between Al-Ahly and Zamalek in three confrontations, and Al-Ahly and Al-Masry once.
