They are, and have been, their respective teams' big scoring machines.

Now they are exchanging clubs with each other.

Paola Egonu moves to VakifBank and Isabelle Haak goes the other way to Conegliano.

Egonus' move became known some time ago and it has been rumored in the volleyball world that Haak was about to replace the Italian.

And so it was.

These are large sums for these two players who are among the very best in their position, right-wingers, in the world.

No figures are official, but it is said that Egonu will receive a record salary for the move.

Isabelle Haak is now returning to Italy where she played for two seasons 2017-2019 for Scandicci.

Even then, Conegliano was the dominant team in Italy and has won five of the last six league titles.

The team also won the club team WC 2019 and Champions League 2021. A club that has been about as superior in Italy as Vakifbank has been in Turkey during Haak's three years at the club.
