Friendly fire led the Wales national team to catch up with the qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup finals, scheduled in Qatar this year, after its 1-0 victory over its home country, Ukraine, today, Sunday, in the final of the first track of the European qualifying playoffs for the World Cup.

The match's only goal came through Ukraine's Andriy Yarmolenko, who scored a mistake in his team's goal in the 34th minute, to make Wales ascend to the World Cup for the second time in its history and the first in 64 years.
