32-year-old Robin Olsen has belonged to the Serie A club Roma since 2018, but apart from the first season, he has been loaned out from the club.

Last season he started at Championship club Sheffield United, but from January he has been loaned to Premier League club Aston Villa.

There it was mostly bench wear, but at the end of the season against Manchester City he had to make his debut.

It ended with a 2-3 loss, where Olsen was attacked by a supporter after the match.

It is now clear that Olsen will remain in Aston Villa permanently.

Villa writes that they have signed a contract with Olsen, and that the transfer is permanent.
