The awards ceremony for the men's basketball and B League this season was held, and Kawasaki Brave Thunders' Yuma Fujii was selected for the first time as the MVP = Most Valuable Player Award.

In the B League, Utsunomiya Brex finished the season with the second victory on the 29th of last month, and MVP and Best Five were announced at the awards ceremony held on the 3rd.

Fujii of Kawasaki Brave Thunders, who was selected as the MVP of the regular season, is 30 years old from Shimane prefecture.



He started in 51 of 55 games this season, averaging 14.1 points per game, contributing to the team's second place in the eastern district and the championship semi-final advancement.



He also has a strong and tenacious defense that makes use of his abundant amount of exercise, and was selected as the Best Defender Award and the Best Five of the regular season, both of which won the award for the third time in a row for three years.
